I’ve been visiting your website for a while now and I just wanted to drop a note of appreciation for the interviews that you put up on your website. All of the interviews I have listened to have been extremely interesting and high quality. I particularly like the diversity of interviewee’s and content covering a wide range of subjects.

I think I first came across you site while looking for information about Daniel Kahneman and came across your interview with him on 212. Which led me to your others interviews. I bought William Poundstone’s ‘Fortune’s Formula’ immediately after listening to your podcast 254 with him and now have a couple of your books on order.

Although I’ve always had an interest in economics, I’ve never been all that interested in trading before but you website has convinced me to take a closer look. I want to thank you for writing your books. They got me to approach the market in a new way. I have dived head long into algo/quant trading through trend trading. As long as you trust the system and follow through you will succeed. I think that the simpler systems are better than complex. Also the markets are noisier than they were 20 years ago which make trend trading harder, but it is still the most successful method for trading. Thanks again Michael.

I have really enjoyed reading two of your books, Trend Following and The Complete TurtleTrader, over the 19 years that I have been involved in the markets and recently started listening to your podcasts. I am in the process of relocating to Singapore and it was from one of these podcasts that I learned you are currently there. Unfortunately, I am not there next week to attend the Bloomberg/MTA Singapore ‘Systematic Trading for Investment Professionals’ seminar, but would really appreciate an opportunity to meet with you and ask a few questions.

I first started in the markets in 1996 on LIFFE and relocated to Australia in 2002 where I was a futures broker for a couple of years [we used to execute (Turtle) Elizabeth Cheval’s EMC orders] and then I became a prop trader in 2005. I am now working for a company called [name] assisting one of the senior portfolio managers but am really keen to explore and learn more about trend trading, as from experience, I can see the benefits & upside of having predetermined entry and exit points based on price action.

Your Little Book changed my life man. I devoured it within what seemed like minutes, following many hard to read technical analysis books. Drowning in books, having the belief trading had to be an extremely complicated venture [was killing me]. Your influence gave me the AHA moment many times over again.
