I am only 8 chapters into your book Trend Following and I am hooked. I was unaware of trend following at all until a month or so ago. A good friend asked me if I knew anything about it. I did not but was interested so I bought your book. I am a commercial lender by trade and a partner in a home building company. We have had several good years now. I have never traded much at all for my own account but often given it serious thought. I believe I am at a place in life where I can dedicate serious time to the endeavor. Just tonight, I googled up your website for the first time and have spent the last hour looking it over. I would like very much to start learning your system. My question is this: Should I finish reading your book and others before starting your course? I thank you in advance.

Hello Michael,

I am from India and have been reading your books on Kindle and also came across your website. Though I had been into stock investment for the last 20 years, I was never actively involved in trading. Started doing intraday/positional trading in the last six months. I only trade indices/derivatives. The biggest challenge I face is the mentality of holding onto something even after it goes against my plan. This to some extent helps in positional trading but for intraday or trend trading it becomes difficult to overcome this mentality.

Hi,

My biggest problem was and is a lack of patience that leads to impulsive decisions and the only time I’ve been patient is when I’m holding the bag, in denial. However, I recognized my problem and took my money out after significant painful losses.

I stopped trading a few years ago. I focused on advancing my career and enjoying life a lot. I’ve matured and I want to get back into it.
