Hi Michael huge fan of your work. My biggest problem is freezing on pops and not selling at the correct time. Also I never want to fully exit cause I’m afraid of missing out but they always pull back. As I write this email I’m discovering I should study more on supports and resistances and buy and sell around there. Also I’m being greedy looking for f u money I need to take it when it’s dangling in front of me. Easier said then done.

Hi Michael,

My biggest challenge is choosing the correct entry point for my trade. At the moment I can not short as I am under PDT, and I want to be able to control my losses so most of my trades need to be held at least overnight. I have been studying Elliott Wave principle and the works of Constance Brown and just starting W. D. Gann. I find that when I enter, my risk reward is not as good as it should be, I am aiming for a 3 : 1 risk reward, but my stops are too far away because of the entry and that is increasing my drawdown.

Just a short note, on our loss of Walter E. Williams. we are so lucky to be exposed to sure a great person.

Back ib the late 60’s my mentor, Rodney P. Wing, quoted Williams and Thomas Sowell all the time. Whenever I watch Williams or Sowell on a podcast, I’m always taken back to Rodney classes. He always discussed things like they do.

I can tell how much you respected Walter Williams in your voice during your conversations.

Over the past fifteen years, King has studied how people’s social networks evolve, what they look like, and why that’s significant. Hi,

Here is my biggest challenge: Deciding whether I can trade or not. Please read on. I’ve been interested in your system for a few months now, inspired by the results that a trusted friend has earned using it for several years now. I’ve listened to a podcast or two, and am now reading Trend Following with much enjoyment, but wish for a bit of advice. Meanwhile, before even knowing about Turtle Trading, I’ve been increasingly uneasy about my investments, realizing that I’m entrusting others to make money for me in ways that, historically, have been inconsistent or unreliable. I’m a composer/musician/poet and wonder if it’s possible to watch the data while playing the piano? if not, is it possible to listen to podcasts or audible as I monitor the trading screen? In other words, is it possible to integrate the two endeavors? How? I’d hate to give up my artistic skills for trading. How can I do both–successfully?

I am glad I found you! I started about 6 months ago following picks from somebody else, but that is not exciting enough. I found myself wanting to know how it is done because some of those picks were just no good. My challenge has been knowing who to learn from. I started with a small account, luckily I have a full-time job, I still have a smaller account but on the way up from here.
