Hi Michael,

I came across your video with Vivek Bajaj from India and got intrigued with your style.

My biggest challenge with trading has been to identify the best indicator which I have never been able to find in the last 2 years. I totally agree with all points mentioned in your 70min video and this is the only approach I am going to take henceforth in the markets.

I am going to follow the 20 day breakout to enter and 10 day breakout to exit rule in Indian markets and commodities and currencies and see how it goes.

Let me know if you have any tips for me.

My guest today is Thomas Curran, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His primary area of expertise is the personality characteristic of perfectionism, how it develops, and how it impacts on mental health. His most notable work is the theory of cultural influences on perfectionism, which rose to special prominence following a 2017 publication of the first systems-level cohort study to show that perfectionism is on the rise in American, Canadian, and British college students.

The topic is his book The Perfection Trap: Embracing the Power of Good Enough.

It’s been a while. I have heard almost all your episodes so far. I have to mention, your episode 1187, you killed it! I deal with so many people today, and often the closest ones to me, that have that unwillingness to open their mind. It’s frustrating. I would love for many of my loved ones to take the time to listen to this episode in its entirety. They could learn so much about themselves if they just heard it with an open mind. Thanks for doing what you do!
