I want to say thank you for the emails, I appreciate the content. One mindset change you’ve helped me with recently and reading your books (The Turtle Traders and Trend Following) is to assess risk first, as well as adopting the entrepreneurial mindset success isn’t linear and neither is profit charts. EMT is BS buy high sell higher and sell low cover lower are the way to go.
In a previous email, you asked what my biggest trading hurdle was. Getting capital together has been my biggest challenge honestly. I don’t want to sound like a bitch but seems like every time I get some money together something happens, car, medical, *you name it BS happens and it’s just been tough in that category. However, I’ve just been doing what I can when I can, as far as finding good content to learn from, paper trading on spreadsheets when I don’t have capital / trading small getting my feet wet when I do have capital. Mostly trend following tactics 26wk B/O’s risking the previous low and moving my stops up when the market sets a new higher low.
I’d love to jump on the flagship course I think it would be a big help and I appreciate the opportunity, but I barely have any capital to my name right now. My significant other has been out of work for a bit, and it’s just been me paying the bills. I couldn’t afford it even if I wanted to. I know this is a journey, but I need to buck up and start making some moves happen (second job or something) it may take me a few years to get there, but I think if I stay the course and keep my head in the books learning the right things, when I do get there, I’ll be ready.
