Hey Michael,

First off, please excuse my casualness in this email, but I’m just ready for a change. I’ve got to say, “The Complete Turtle Trader” was a game-changer for me. It’s how I first learned about you Mr. Covel and the incredible work you’ve done.

I’m a futures trader, mostly dabbling in the indices. Had some big wins and some big losses, and man, it’s been a got damn roller coaster. I’ve been primarily self-taught, navigating through the vast sea of trading books and endless YouTube tutorials. And while I’ve tasted some success in the industry, it’s damn frustrating how I always end up giving those hard-earned wins back. It’s like taking two steps forward and then, somehow, three steps back. I’ve even gone the funded trader route having passed the evaluations, received pay outs and then eventually somehow still blowing accounts. I’m sure everything I’m saying you’ve heard it all before, which is why I genuinely believe you can help. I’m not a quitter, I’ll die before I quit on my dream and for whatever reason trading seems to be a big part of it.

I’m 38 now, and honestly, I’m ready to level the f^$% up. I just found out about your flagship course and something inside is telling me it might just be the missing piece in my trading puzzle or I could just be a little left of center, but I seriously doubt it. Maybe it’s time for some structured guidance, you know?

Would love to hear your thoughts and any advice you might have for someone in my shoes.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I’m genuinely looking forward to diving deep into what your course has to offer. And no, I did not write this email for the “twist my arm discount”. I wrote because I’m genuinely interested in your feedback. I do not care about the discount.

My guest today is Larry Hite, a hedge fund manager who is credited as one of the forefathers of system trading. He co-founded Mint Investments in 1981, which by 1990, had become the largest commodity trading advisor in the world in terms of assets under management. After forming a partnership with the Man Group in the same year, he pioneered the principal protected fund concept, leading to a number of successful structured products and financial engineering innovations.

Hi Michael,

I am Vibhour from India. I wanted to tell you that your work has inspired me a lot and trend following is indeed the best strategy to follow which requires no predictions and just rules.

I wanted to tell you that I am in my path to become a professional trader and from the last 2 years I have spent thousands of dollars to learn trading. I have learned a lot about price action, candlesticks, some other price patterns and couple of indicators too but when I listen to you I think that I have spent a lot on learning things which are more complex than simple trend following.

I want to be part of your flagship program and soon I will be. I just think that I’ve already learned so much in past 2 years and that has been working for me fine, but I want better performance and that thought of learning more trading makes me feel a bit overwhelmed. I think the more I learn the more I will confuse myself. Instead of that I think I should improve what I already know. Can you please guide me on that thought?

I’ve worked hard on learning but still am not very much profitable. As it’s just not very much suitable to my mindset to analyse very single candle and use my discretion to trade. That’s why your way of teaching attracted me.

I understand equating your investing (trading) style to the VC guys or entrepreneurs, but I’m not catching the casino connection. Can you help me understand that please, so I can learn?

On average, wouldn’t the casino win more and lose less? Small consistent winnings that pay for the occasional big loss? Trend following would be a majority small losses with a minority big winners which exceed the losses, right?

Loved the “investing implies…” description, btw.
