Hi Mr. Covel, apart from The Complete TurtleTrader, do you have other books that teach the turtle rules? I can’t figure out the hard stop computation on page 84. I’d be happy to buy another one of your books if it can help me understand the rules a bit better. (I really hesitated to email you; I would rather buy another book and figure it out myself; when I’m finally trading and need assistance, I will buy your course). “If the N was 7 cents, a 2N stop would have been 14 cents. The stop would have been 14 cents behind the entry price. An entry at $250 would have a hard stop at $236 (250 – 14).” ($250 – 14 cents = $236 ?) 14 cents is used as if it’s 14 dollars? I cannot find anything before or after this page that clarifies this. When time permits I hope you can enlighten me on just this one issue.

I haven’t read your book yet. I’m sorry to say I don’t buy many books. I’m the library’s best customer. I can go through 10 books a week. I’m right now waiting from my library to get the book from another library. The library system is great many times they not have it in a book form like kindle so they have to get it from another library.
If serious you probably buy it and don’t play around. If not, whatever.

I had the team at Fidelity meeting do you have any fund managers that go long and short that do trend following? The answer was an emphatic no.
I explained I met with one of Fidelity’s advisors which was Churchill Advisors where that had two recent down years of 11% and 14% down years I was 78 years old at that time do you really think that is the advisor I’m looking for?
Now they want to have someone oversee my accounts I said did I do something wrong they informed me no. I guess I pushed the issue of trend timing too far.

I’m reading your book and came across Barbara Dixon— she died just recently.
I have to tell you, this is the best book on trend following I’ve ever read. I can tell you put a great deal of research into this project.
When I finish your book I might have some additional questions.
