“I saw that you floated the possibility of BlueCrest being a trend following firm…”

Hey Michael!

First of all, I hope you are having an amazing day. I have two questions for you, as I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I saw that you floated the possibility of BlueCrest being a trend following firm, notably because of it’s Blue trend business, but I was wondering if you would still consider it a trend following firm, even after becoming the personal investment vehicle of Michael Platt. I once read somewhere around your website that the best traders are usually trend traders, not only small traders but also big and historical trader. The other question is kinda similar, as George Soros usually tries to make his approach to investing look really complicated, but I’ve always found his real investments to be consistent or similar to teens following. He buys when a trend starts and leaves before the top, which is consistent with trend following. We all know that big traders like to make their approach sound more complicated, but I’d like to know your opinion about both topics.

Thanks beforehand,
Gabriel R.
