It amazes me watching CNBC and Bloomberg today and seeing tons of analysts giving their opinions on why oil has dropped over 8% [recently]. All of their reasons make no sense and sounds like they are pulling it out of their a** (pardon my French) lol. Price has been showing that the trend is down since the middle of October. When will people learn that price is all you need.

Most difficult thing is understanding why a trend following system that never loses money in any year over its last 20, averaged 100% compounded, and largest drawdown was 3 months and below 40% and always rebounded to more than regain losses within 6 months. Why did my trader immediately enter a 4 month drawdown followed by complete destruction of over -95% wiping out my account. So how to prevent stupid losses when traders know system has stopped working? Why should I trust anyone?

No trend following strategy has made money every year over the last 20. None makes 100% compounded. So why did someone blow your account out? Who knows, but it wasn’t trend following. Sounds like options selling. That makes money all the time then one moment you are dead.
