Hi Michael,

Just listened to your podcast (EP 887), terrific work as always, and love your no BS approach and straight shooter talk. We need more of that in this world, even if most won’t listen. I just want to say I had a good laugh as you called that one guy a moron in the beginning and him saying they will no longer listen to your podcast. What do you do after that? Post a podcast about trading lmao! Absolutely love it, pure trolling at its finest.

The currencies have been showing some pretty interesting trends lately, especially the USD ones. We all know what’s happening with the USD and where it’s going (based on the FED printing), A lot of contrarian economists (Peter Schiff for example) have been talking about the actions of the FED and the effects on the economy and even the financial markets and how they’re basically the catalysts for some of the trends we are seeing. I would love to hear your take on all of this and more in a podcast and I think it would be cool to have a guy like Peter Schiff on your podcast, I’m sure you know about him.

Anyways I think the opportunities we’ll be seeing (if not already are) will be so tempting not to pass up that we’ll see guys like Salem Abraham and Bill Dunn be the big players.

What technique and time frame are you speaking of?

Swing trading, 72 minutes. Multiple shorter timeframes for timing. Approx. 1R first profit-taking, then ATR trailing stop for balance. Risk is fractional ATR based on the chart.

That’s a dead end. Throw that technique and time frame in the waste basket. Further reading to jump into.

I have read a number of your books now and enjoyed them a great deal. I traded stocks and options in the past, and as I read your books I was surprised at how normal the mistakes I made were, and I understand now why I was so frustrated in an effort to prove myself right. What a revelation and sense of freedom to read about an approach that manages risk and probability, and does it so successful when applied with discipline! I’m a full-time Army Officer and Apache Pilot. We discuss risk management in our field religiously, since it’s necessary for mission success and survival, even in training. I’m excited to learn more and apply time-tested concepts, not only for the potential for wealth generation but also for the disciplined application of a system. Hi Michael,

I’m surprised by this email but I’ll happily answer your questions. My biggest challenge when it comes to trading is thinking that some stocks are too expensive for me to buy, then missed out on the price increase. My next challenge is to find out the underdogs = cheaper stocks of huge potential to trend higher. I missed out Moderna, Nikola, and others. I’m not sure if my mindset is wrong for the underdog thinking, I hope you can enlighten and educate me on it. Thank you so much for your time and God bless.
