Hey Mike,

I just recently read your “Complete TurtleTrader” book and started Trend Following. I’m all in. Currently don’t trade futures and have only dabbled in options. I’ve been in some discord groups and see a good amount of people claiming have 90% success rates etc. I know highly doubt that. I am embracing the Trend Following moons set and have done some trades recently after seeing some trends develop to the downside recently. Had about five trades that I had to cut loose early and only took small losses before I caught a wave to the downside today. Thanks for the information in your books.

I heard about you on humbled trader podcast. I’ve been trying to follow TVM strategy (trend, value, momentum) and it’s slow going. I’m conservative and very good at risk management so I don’t lose much, but I have not been able to confidently predict gains.

I just bought some Caterpillar because that is going up. Hopefully it keeps going haha.

I definitely want to read your books.

Hi,

Thanks for your email. I actually just enrolled in this course called trading the financial markets about 2 months ago. While we have been taught a number of strategies, support and resistance, trading on retracements, etc, I can’t seem to apply them fully and accurately when I trade gold. I am not actively trading the 7 major currency pairs as, there is no trading opportunity most of the time.

I have not funded any live account as of this time. I am still trading on my demo account after I completed my 5-day academic course at the end of August. However, at this point, I seem to have more losses than wins. And so I am looking to improve my knowledge and trying to learn simple effective strategies that would increase my win rate on a daily basis.

Also, since I have just started, I don’t have much funds to spend on very expensive trading courses. So, if you have videos I could watch or books I could read, that would be more ideal.
