Watched the video (already ordered your book) – in the video, you used (what I am sure is stock trading jargon) and I decided that perhaps I might be starting in a little bit better head space, since I have nothing to unlearn.

No question but I was a little nervous when you started rattling off all the trading terms.

Since 2000, I’ve read a lot of books on trading and traded small accounts. Several years back I took a small retirement account and traded it and lost half of it and quit. Since then I’ve continued to study and practice with small accounts in stocks and forex. My pattern is that I’ll have a string of losses and then get more cautious and go sideways forever. I’m 66 and strangely I still like trading and I’m hoping that as my schedule slows down I’ll have more time to watch price action and improve my skills.

Michael,

Thank you. I’ll read and listen to Trend Following 5th Edition. Afterwards, my intention is to enroll on your Flagship program. I will continue to read your email lessons.

I am glad I stumbled onto your “The Little Book of Trading” audiobook on Audible, which led me to your other books and website. I watched your Intro video, as well. I liked it. Both were a real smack-to-the-head.

I say this because last month, I went down the rabbit hole trying to get a semblance of a grip on trading; how and where to start. I culled through so many get-rich-quick websites, videos, and book summaries. The only stuff that made any sense, albeit overkill, was quantitative, algorithmic trading. So, I started studying math, statistics, and Python so I could then enroll in Udacity’s AI for Trading. That is, until I crossed your path.

I am 54 years old, I have a BS in Philosophy, I closed my business, I have enough money to start trading as soon as I know what the hell I’m doing (hopefully sooner than later), I had a growth mindset well before somebody finally put a name on it, and my ego does not get in the way. I want to be a trader for a living. Now, you know more about me than you probably wanted.
