Frontier Airlines has pulled nearly 40 percent of its flight lineup from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, including the airport’s sole flights to Buffalo and Indianapolis. A spokesperson for the low-cost carrier described the move as seasonal suspensions. The airline did not immediately comment on what flights may be returning. Industry watchers say route cuts aren’t unusual for Denver-based Frontier. “It goes into a ton of new markets and then it culls the ones that don’t make money quickly,” said Brett Snyder of Cranky Flier. “It just keeps trying new markets and hoping that some of the ones it tries will perform well enough to stick around.”
