Just a thank you for interviewing Kuppy a while back. One of the few podcasts I gave a relisten straight away.
As fascinating as he is, his latest Twitter bagging out TF in the light of your interview I find strange. I am aware as much as I like that philosophy of, by his own blurb, “allocations to event-driven special situations”, which reminds me of Soros style a lot, like his “hurricane-omics”, I recognize he is a whale who if he wants to get large positions it is not as easy as the likes of small fry like me, to not change the market with a trade. I get that.
I also get that he doesn’t seem to understand TF methods either. I am guessing that, eg he speaks of uranium, that TFs may have gotten in sometime after the Dec 26 dip, or early May, and he is assuming the TFs are only getting in on the higher breakout.
No great reply requested or necessary.
So many questions for you. I can’t wait to jump in, all in good time. But when I do, I will strive to be a good student.

Great video man! You sent me a copy of The Complete TurtleTrader back in April and it was the wake-up call I needed to get back to following the rules. With that said I am currently riding the NASDAQ trend since May 1 and am currently up over 33% in TQQQ.
The stop-loss rules have kept me in the trade when my weak ass was wanting to sell. It came within a couple of cents of my stop, but then ripped back up the following day and hasn’t looked back since.
I’m not sure when the party will end, but with the rules you have taught me, I don’t care anymore. This position will end up no worse than breaking even at the current stop and the new trailing stop (20-day low) is about to insert itself as the new floor any day now.

Hi Mike,
I know you are fascinated with “the flow state” of mind after listening to a number of your guests talk about the subject. I was on a WWII kick the past week and saw this interview with Major Dick Winters who was famously portrayed in HBOs Band of Brothers. This 5-minute video has him talking about his famous lone assault on 100 SS troops in Holland. In this interview he describes a state of mind he’s only been in once in his life; the world is in slow motion, except for him. It’s a fascinating story that he himself really can’t explain. I bet your former guests, who are experts in the flow state, would love to hear of this example.
Amazing what the mind and body are capable of in extreme situations.
