Really enjoyed your enthusiasm in episode 1363, I share the sentiment on so many levels, and I am excited to see what you are working on.
I am a long time follower of your work, going all the way back to the late 90s. Your podcasts so often hit me at just the right moment. I often want to email you just to say thank you, but don’t want to fill up your inbox.
I want to thank you for the transformation you have already ignited in my life. I have you to thank for turning me on to Austrian Economics. I can’t remember if you did a post about Human Action or it was just on one of your book lists (pretty sure there was a direct link on your page for a while), but wow did that change the trajectory of my life. Case and class probability combined with trend following seeded the framework that would propel my intellectual and professional development in directions and depth I am forever grateful for.
I’ve held off on reaching out for years because I imagined that the next time I emailed you would be after I had built something big and visible — and then I could come on your show with my success story. I’ve come close a couple times, but recently I realized: as you’ve said again and again, the real story is the process — the building, the mindset, the becoming — and that’s actually where I’ve found my joy. Thank you for lighting that fuse so many years ago. I wouldn’t be who I am — or building what I’m building — without your work.
