I had the team at Fidelity meeting do you have any fund managers that go long and short that do trend following? The answer was an emphatic no.
I explained I met with one of Fidelity’s advisors which was Churchill Advisors where that had two recent down years of 11% and 14% down years I was 78 years old at that time do you really think that is the advisor I’m looking for?
Now they want to have someone oversee my accounts I said did I do something wrong they informed me no. I guess I pushed the issue of trend timing too far.
