Just listened to the recent post with Christopher Chabris and agree with most of what he said, but the devil is always in the details and how much can we trust the data that’s available.
For example, I found it interesting that he believes the COVID shots were highly effective – not sure what data he’s basing that on. While Pfizer’s initial clinical trial data did show a 95% relative risk reduction for severe COVID, the absolute risk reduction, which is what actually matters and is how the data is supposed to be presented, showed a less than 0.8% reduction in severe COVID.
That’s assuming the data Pfizer supplied isn’t manipulated, and we are seeing in the Pfizer documents that the FDA was forced to make public that there were more all-cause deaths in the treatment arm than the placebo arm.
Curious to know if you have read “Turtles All the Way Down.” Different from your turtles but calls into question the science, using science and data, backing many of our beliefs about vaccines in general.
