Dear Michael, Firstly, I would like to give you my sincerest thanks for all the incredible podcasts that you offer for free for learning purposes. The amount of information that you have gathered from amazing minds is unbelievable, wish I would have had known about it before I started trading. My name is [Name], I am a Spanish national who has lived abroad in Germany, the Netherlands and Singapore. I am currently studying a Masters in Finance in Rotterdam. I first got into trading 3 years ago when a friend, who had been trading since he was 12 (with help from his father), showed me the markets, candlestick charts, moving averages and all that jazz. I became completely hooked instantly, nothing seemed as exciting as trading. Of course at the beginning I was focused on getting rich fast, which looking back was very naïve. Luckily my friend had advised me to start with very little funds since it was very likely that I would lose them fast. Surely enough I blew my first 2 accounts. This left me very frustrated and incredibly disappointed, I had been used to always doing well at everything I tried and I thought that my experience with trading would be similar. Needless to say, trading has been very tough and hasn’t rewarded me financially yet. After having listened to most of your podcasts, and followed the work of some great trend following traders I am gaining the confidence to start trading an account again. I am trying to make my trading as systematic as possible but still have some areas that I am having trouble with. I am guessing that you receive a lot of email and most likely don’t have time to go through it all, but if you did read this just know that I appreciated your work greatly. My hope is for one day to be a consistent profitable trend following trader and have the honor to be a guest in one of your podcasts. Finally, I would just want to go for a long shot and ask whether you need help with anything at all, I am a very ambitious and resourceful student that would be living his dream being able to work or even just chat with someone as distinguished as you.
