Hello Michael,
I want to take the time to take advantage of your proposal to “twist your arm” as I desire to enroll in the flagship program. Here’s my situation and transitional plan.
At present, I am a lead pastor at [name]. Presently [I] will be celebrating 20 years of marriage this year. I also am a coach/consultant with [name]. My passion is people development and finance. I have been a pastor for the past 20 years and am now feeling a transition out of that role and into something different. Let me share what that looks like.
I have always had a deep passion for investing and trading. I have always been involved in investing and when I had financial and time margin, I would trade, and I loved it. I have always had a deep passion for coaching and developing people, systems and organizations. I have always found deep purpose in helping others become what they are not in the present to who they can be in the future.
My desire and passion is leading me to find a way to embrace all three of these elements. I want to be involved in trading for multiple reasons. One, passion for the market and technical analysis. Two, love the challenge and the arena to overcome self and pursue self-discipline. Three, become a source of income for my family. Four, to supplement the costs for others so that they may be able to receive coaching/consulting. Finally, five, to work with Africa New Life without having to receive a paycheck from them.
As of right now, the plan is to fully transition out of my role by the end of 2025. Due to that time frame, I want to learn and practice as much as I can about trend trading so that I can enter that season sprinting instead of starting cold turkey. I am a deep and passionate learner (read 2 of your books today) and have always valued mentorship and being coached. This is my focus during the next 18 months: Learn, observe, practice and sharpen my trading skill set.
My ask is this: Not that you consider a discount based upon financial realities only, but that you consider the value of the dream and passion that’s being pursued. I can promise you this: I will give you my all and will give it 110% of effort and will stick to the process and program.
On a side note, I’m also seriously looking for someone who would consider mentoring me as well. Not sure what you would recommend in that regard, but open to suggestions.

So here is my answer to your question: What is your biggest challenge you have faced with your trading?
It’s resisting to the temptation of taking profits when they look very attractive and forgetting about the trend in that moment. The challenge is to put the long term before the short term.
