I started to see a buy side and sell side liquidity grab on Nvda with the hourly with the head and shoulders pattern on the daily as well and over all down trend on the chart got him on puts at high of day on a bounce to the down side. With the bear ETFs I started to see an uptrend on those due to spy and qqq selling off on a down trend. I’ve been meaning to ask you to send me that video and more stuff about trend following.

I hope your yoga is going well. I’ve been spending most of my time in Mexico the past couple of years, doing a lot of yoga at a good studio. I want to say that I admire you for talking to that social justice guy on your podcast. I don’t think I could have handled it. He wasn’t as smarmy as the guy who walked out on the podcast a few years ago when you brought up the gun violence stats, but he was in that direction as he pretended to be blind to what you were saying. You mentioned that people bring up important topics these days, and then you can’t have a conversation about it if it offends someone. I agree, but I notice that the objections to seriously addressing certain topics almost always seem to come from 1 side of the aisle. That might be the biggest objection to this guy’s point of view. He sees all the good from big government, ignoring the huge bomb that’s been built by the fed and the govt by manipulating markets. That kind of Pollyanna attitude is going to end up in greater misery than if he/we look at things in a sober manner. For the moment he’s smug and happy that he’s “right.” Too bad the government has mortgaged the future of the US, and possibly the whole world, in order to fund keeping the stock market up for the past 14.5 years. And avoiding offending anyone. In the meantime, let’s not let the smartest kids into Harvard, because they haven’t been oppressed enough.

I saw you at a Stansberry Meeting in Hong Kong a few years ago. I was so inspired when you said you visited [assorted Asian countries] and decided not to return. I never forgot.

Well, after losing my partner two years ago, I made two extended trips to SE Asia in the last year and a half. I love it there. Previously I have been to China many times since 1990.

I will lift off in early January. Have you written anything about your experience or spoken in your blog about this? I’d love to know more about your experience.

I am JingXiong from Singapore and I chanced upon your podcast and recently got your book, Trend Following.

In response to your question on the biggest challenge [in trading], I would say it’s discipline. I haven’t recently started to implement some trading rules for my entry and exits.

I would like to start taking my trading more seriously and I think the trend following technique is suitable for me.
