Let’s test if you actually read these emails. I would have to say that my biggest challenge in investing would have to be some very limited funds. I am a student currently and don’t have the money necessary to even qualify as a day trader. So in all honesty what would you recommend for someone who does not have the resources necessary to invest?

My biggest challenge [on trading] is figuring out a beginner methodology or program for active trading besides simple buy & hold.

A simple rules based program for active trading or swing trading, do I need software, best broker platforms etc.

I have funds and own a number of stocks that have done well but would like to learn a more active trading approach but just don’t know where to start.

I also backtested several trend following strategies and it turn out that my available capital won’t be enough to produce quality result (5000 – 10 000 USD). I would like to ask if you could recommend an ETF managed futures fund available in Europe? I can’t find one. Thanks a lot in advance!

“Revenge trading is my worst trading trait…”

Revenge trading is my worst trading trait. I day trade which I shouldn’t do and when down I add to a trade or trade again with bigger size. I will not day trade anymore and I really need to start making 3% monthly and compound my winnings every month. If I learn a consistent methodology and have success monthly and compound my monthly profit, I will begin year 2 with $100,000. I am nearly 76 and I need to do this properly. Thanks. Hello Michael,

We worked together maybe 10 years ago, alongside [name] at [name]. I’m a copywriter and have been fascinated by trend following for quite some time. I enjoy your books and podcast (I just finished episode 1277), and I’m wondering if you can help me find a system to use for trend following. My notes from awhile ago suggest most people use the 50 and 200 day moving averages, but what else? What stop loss do people use? And how do people get alerts on when a market is declining a trend? I’m basically looking for a bit of hand-holding on how to set up a system, and you said at the end of episode 1277 that I could send you an email to seek that solution. Let me be a guinea pig or look over your shoulder at the nuts and bolts.

I have been implementing a weekly trading strategy (I admire Paul Mulvaney and his trading), but I still struggle with patience and not checking my charts each day.

Wasn’t sure if you had any suggestions on how I can improve my patience, so that I don’t end up overriding my trading system.
