Hey Mike, I just wanted to say thanks for the great podcasts as I have enjoyed your interviews with all your guests as they keep getting better and better since you started. I like how you push the entrepreneurial spirit as it motivates me to make adjustments in my own life. I am in the process of working on getting started on my own, but currently work in a cubicle for a large custodial bank. What do you think of the CFA? Is it all BS nonsense and unnecessary? I was thinking of taking the exam(s), but part of me wants to just be a personal trainer and try to start my own business anyway. I would just do trading on the side so I can be involved in the markets. The only reason I would become Chartered would be to work the corporate gig for a few more years to gain more capital to where I can be comfortable doing what I actually want to do. Do you think this is a good plan or is there no such thing as good timing and just get started?
What’s the CFA for? To make money? I don’t know about evidence linking that to trading success. Thanks for the nice words on my podcast.
