Thank you for the recent release of A Speculative Reminder; I listened to it this morning (PST time) and indeed it was a good reminder. I always look forward to your podcast and the wealth of information you provide your listeners with. Like the Butterfly Effect wherein one thing leads to another, I found your podcast after finding The Complete Turtle Trader, which I discovered after reading Bill Eckhardt’s 2006 published paper of Causal Time Asymmetry. I found Eckhardt after being hooked on Jack Schwager’s Market Wizard series, something I discovered after listening to a Schwager interview on Seeking Alpha’s podcast, Alpha Trader. I have listened to many many other audiobooks with authors that were interviewed on your podcast, such as William Green’s Richer, Wiser, Happier, and Kotler’s The Art of the Impossible, and Bold, among others. I can conclude that I have enough material to keep me listening and learning for a long while. I continue to look forward to your podcast on the weekly.
PS- My ma and stepdad-growing-up took me to Vietnam and Cambodia as a child of about 11; I am thankful they did for it opened my eyes to southeast Asia and the lasting remnants war will reap on a country and on its people; I still remember seeing men in flip flops with six toes, often enough so that I would look down to people’s feet in the street. I also remember getting a savage nosebleed at the Vietnam Remnants War Museum, soaking a white t-shirt in blood while staring at photos of the dead. An ironic phenomenon, one of the many that frequents my head. Listening to your podcast has also brought back memories from my time in Vietnam, so thank you.
Thank you for the nice words!
