The biggest problem outside of proper entry and exits would be clearly defining a set of rules and mechanically following. For example today I got ate up in the market because I was following the volume but I was following volume on a 5-minute time frame what year was the time frame I was entering on rather than following it on the one hour with my setup came from and I know better.
