I picked up your book today and I was pleased to find confirmation that my investment approach is on track. I have been able to reach a 17% return so far on a portfolio of 20 stocks on $10,000. I just completed 10 years of study that includes 5 master degrees, culminating in an MBA from Chicago received last month. My qualm is that I’m doing all this by focusing on trends and knowledge acquired in my studies. And, I’m doing zero quant predictions. My guilt trip to myself is that I should be doing quant modeling to anchor my thinking.
