The crisis of middle-class America is at FT.com today. Only once in the article is the word ‘Internet’ mentioned and that’s only to talk about the ability to surf. The Internet arbitrages everything. Get used to it and stop whining. Good ole days are toast.

  2. Sad but true. IMHO, until the dollar exchange rate represents the reality of our economy, this is the sad truth. However, when the dollar exchange rate represents reality, the U.S. will be paying much more for commodities and we will be in even worse shape for awhile until we regain our footing.

    Reversion to the mean is going to be painful for everyone – even the Rich.
