I have followed you for years, reading your books and listening to your podcasts. This morning’s email was a great synopsis of trend following. My family and friends always question my trend following strategies and always ask for ‘predictions’ for the market. When I respond with, “I don’t know” or “who cares”, I get puzzled looks.

I have my own nice profitable system that was inspired by yourself, Nick Range, and Steve Sjuerudd. I never spell Steve’s name right but you know who I am speaking of.

So thanks for all your work over the years.

Hello,

Am new into trading, going 11 months. My challenge and one am working on is taking all the trading knowledge that am getting in form of trading strategies, psychology of trading and trading as business, and creating a system of trading that will be mechanical at the same time informed by not so mechanical aspects of the markets.

I am creating an automated trading system informed by my observations of price action and feeding it a few of my parameters that I keep adjusting until it fit into my style of trading.

Anyways, thank you for a great book. Am only on page 45 of your Trend Following book and it’s confirming a lot of what I have learned thus far.

I’ve been listening to your podcast since 2018 and been a ‘full-time’ trader since around that time. Very inspirational content, thank you!

After traveling to Mexico and US in recent months I ended up in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City now without any specific plan but to see the world. Going to be here for another 4 weeks. Yesterday I met an American from Cali at Starbucks and after visiting museums together, we went to see apartments at [name] b/c he’s looking for a place to retire. Your last episode about dipping a toe in the pool water resonated well with the current moment.
